Obverse P2 was used to strike both proof and business strike issues, our die marriages OC-P2, OC-P3, and OC-3.

Reverse PB Reverse PB is identified by the extension of vertical lines 1-2 and 1-3 into the horizontal shield lines and by the penetration of lines 2-3 and 3-1 into the shield border. These markers are shown in the photo below.  1840 Reverse PB die markers
