Comments:
This is the second and final use of Obverse P1 and the first of two uses of Reverse 1863 PB in 1864.
Reverse 1863 PB is transitional, first used in 1863 to strike proof die marriage OC-P2.

Obverse P1
Obverse P1 displays no notable die markers, but the date position should be sufficient for attribution.
The right base of the 1 lines up just left of the right edge of the denticle, the only such die in 1864.
The following photo shows the attribution grid.

Reverse 1863 PB
Reverse 1863 PB shows only very minor die markers. The most notable is the extension of vertical shield
line 1-3, which reaches to horizontal line 5. The lowest horizontal shield line extends across the shield
border to the left, but doesn’t extend into the wing feathers. Compare to Reverse 1863 PA, which displays
only very minor vertical shield line extensions, with the lowest horizontal shield line extending very
slightly into the feathers.
